Bharti Airtel was the only share in positive territory on Wednesday, a day when the Sensex lost over 700 points in an algo trade-related sell-off.
The Bharti Airtel scrip, which gained over 3 per cent in the morning session, shed most of its gains by close. It finished at Rs 389.95 on the BSE, up 0.80 per cent on its Tuesday close at Rs 386.85. On the NSE the scrip was trading at Rs 390.20. This represented a gain of 0.81 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 387.05.
