BHEL made rapid strides to emerge the top gainer on the BSE at close on Tuesday. At 3.55 pm the stock held gains of 4.41 per cent at ₹196.50 as against ₹188.20 at close on Monday.
Hero MotoCorp was trading at ₹2,187.60, up 3.06 per cent on its previous close of ₹2,122.60.
Hind Unilever was quoting at ₹592, up 1.73 per cent on its overnight close of ₹581.95.
Larsen & Toubro made gains of 1.47 per cent to trade at ₹1,248.40, as against ₹1,230.30 at close yesterday.
Tata Power charged up 1.24 per cent to trade at ₹81.35 as against ₹80.35 at close on Monday.
