The BHEL stock was on a roll on the bourses in late trading on Thursday. At 3.20 pm the share was the top gainer on the NSE as well at ₹239.90. This represented a gain of 4.69 per cent on Wednesday's close at ₹229.15.
BPCL traded firm to keep gains of 2.43 per cent in late trading. The stock was quoting at ₹694.25 as against its overnight close at ₹677.75.
IDFC was firm but off its morning highs at ₹143.65. This was a gain of 1.81 per cent on its overnight close at ₹141.10.
ONGC maintained its firm undertone to trade at ₹435.70 as against ₹428.15 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 1.76 per cent.
Larsen & Toubro built up gains of 1.71 per cent to quote at ₹1,529.30 as against ₹1,503.65 at close yesterday.
