Dr Reddy’s Labs extended its rally to notch up gains of 4.17 per cent near the close on Thursday. At 3.30 pm the share was trading at Rs 3,373 as against it overnight close at Rs 3,238.10. The company today announced that net profit declined 7 per cent in the third quarter ended December 31.
HDFC Bank also moved up further to trade at Rs 1,093.80. This represented a gain of 3.37 per cent on Wednesday’s close at Rs 1,058.10. The bank today said Q3 profit grew 12 per cent on demand in small towns.
BHEL steamed up 2.55 per cent at Rs 286. The share had closed yesterday’s session at Rs 278.90.
Reliance Industries shed some of its morning gains by close. It was trading at Rs 926.95 as against Rs 905.85 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 2.33 per cent.
ITC was up 2.10 per cent at Rs 370. The share had closed the overnight session at Rs 362.40.
