ICICI Bank rode up 2.24 per cent at Rs 356.20 as against Rs 348.40 at close on Tuesday.
Bharti Airtel gained 1.96 per cent to trade at Rs 355.80 as against Rs 348.95 at close overnight.
Tata Motors sped up 1.92 per cent at Rs 585.65 as against Rs 574.60 at close yesterday.
HDFC built up gains of 1.89 per cent at Rs 1,390 as against Rs 1,364.15 at close overnight.
The Sensex and the Nifty soared to record highs following the RBI's 25bps repo rate cut earlier today. The Sensex soared over 240 points to hover above the 29,830 level, while the Nifty gained over 70 points to trade at above the 9,060 level.
