Bharti Airtel shed most of its morning gains on the BSE by the close on Thursday. However, it emerged the top gainer on the bourse, which witnessed a massive sell-off during the session. It was quoting at Rs 398.70 as against Rs 394.85 at close yesterday. This was a gain of 0.98 per cent.
GAIL (India) edged up 0.45 per cent to trade at Rs 381.80 as against Rs 380.10 at close on Wednesday.
Larsen & Toubro managed to stay in positive territory with gains of 0.18 per cent at Rs 1,636 as against Rs 1,633.10 at close overnight.
Hero MotoCorp was also up a shade at Rs 2,600, a gain of 0.17 per cent on its previous close at Rs 2,595.6.
