Hindalco Industries rallied further to hold gains of 2.97 per cent at Rs 133.55 in late trading on the BSE on Friday. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 129.70.
Infosys dropped some of its morning gains to quote at Rs 2,204 as against Rs 2,144.45 at close on Thursday. This represented a gain of 2.78 per cent.
State Bank of India made rapid strides during the afternoon session to notch up gains of 2.59 per cent at Rs 263.55 as against Rs 256.90 at close yesterday.
Larsen & Toubro moved up further to hold gains of 2.5 per cent at Rs 1,676.85 as against Rs 1,636 at close yesterday.
ICICI Bank was trading at Rs 314.40 as against Rs 307.55 at close overnight. This represented a gain of 2.23 per cent.
