IT shares Infosys and TCS were among the top gainers on the BSE in Friday morning trade. At 11.46 am Infosys led the pack, quoting at Rs 2,220 as against Rs 2,144.45 at close on Thursday. This represented a gain of 3.52 per cent.
Hindalco Industries spurted 2.04 per cent at Rs 132.35. The share closed the previous session at Rs 129.70.
TCS gained 1.66 per cent at Rs 2,555 as against Rs 2,513.35 at close overnight.
Larsen & Toubro moved up 1.57 per cent to quote at Rs 1,661.65 as against Rs 1,636 at close yesterday.
NTPC charged up 1.29 per cent to trade at Rs 145.70 as against Rs 143.85 at close on Thursday.
