Auto shares were among the top gainers on the BSE near the mid-session on Tuesday. However, ICICI Bank led the pack at 11.20 am. Shares of the bank were up 5.84 per cent at Rs 320.05 as against Rs 302.40 at close on Monday.
Maruti Suzuki rode up 3.14 per cent at Rs 3,761.30 as against Rs 3,646.70 at close yesterday. The company had reported an over 60 per cent increase in standalone net profit during Q4.
BHEL powered up 3 per cent to quote at Rs 233.609 as against Rs 226.80 at close overnight.
Tata Motors gained 2 per cent at Rs 527.65 as against Rs 517.30 previously.
Hero MotoCorp was trading at Rs 2,363. This represented a gain of 1.68 per cent on its previous close at Rs 2,324.05.
