Auto and pharma shares were among the top gainers at mid-morning on the BSE on Monday. However, ONGC led the pack with gains of 3.74 per cent at Rs 316. The share had closed last week at Rs 304.60.
M&M drove up 3.48 per cent at Rs 1,184.95 as against Rs 1,145.15 at close on Friday.
Cipla perked up 3.29 per cent at Rs 658 as against Rs 637.05 at close last week.
Bajaj Auto rode up 3.02 per cent at 2,008.35 as against Rs 1,949.40 at close previously.
Hindalco Industries vaulted up 2.94 per cent to quote at Rs 132.85 as against Rs 129.05 at close last week.
