IT stocks maintained their firm tone on the BSE ahead of the close of the session on Wednesday. At 3 pm the top gainer was Wipro, which held gains of 3.28 per cent at ₹615.90 as against ₹596.35 at close on Tuesday.
Infosys was trading at ₹3,852.90. This represented a gain of 2.81 per cent on its overnight close at ₹3,747.65.
TCS gained 1.67 per cent to trade at ₹2,784 as against ₹2,738.20 at close yesterday.
Hero MotoCorp gained 1.5 per cent at ₹2,884.75. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹2,842.05.
M&M sped up 1.30 per cent at ₹1,380 as against ₹1362.30 overnight.
