GAIL (India) made further ground ahead of the close on Tuesday afternoon. At 2.55 pm it had sailed up 4.68 per cent to quote at ₹480.20. The stock had closed yesterday’s session at ₹458.75.
Sesa Sterlite shed some of its morning gains by late trade. It was quoting at ₹248.35 as against ₹237.65 at close on Monday. This was a gain of 4.5 per cent.
BHEL edged up further to quote at ₹237.7. This represented a gain of 4.37 per cent on its overnight close at ₹227.75.
Wipro spurted 2.73 per cent at ₹571.55. The stock had ended yesterday’s session at ₹556.35.
ICICI Bank traded up 2.5 per cent to quote at ₹1,575.40. The stock had closed Monday’s session at ₹1,537.
