The CBI court has rejected the bail application of Jignesh Shah, the promoter of Financial Technologies (now known as 63 moons technologies), and remanded him to judicial custody till October 10.

Rejecting the CBI plea for a five-day extension of police custody of Shah, the Court observed that the grounds for extension of police custody sought was similar to that of last time and remanded Shah to judicial custody till October 10. Shah was sent to Kalyan jail.

The court also rejected Shah’s bail application moved immediately by his lawyers after he was remanded to judicial custody. “We will be moving the bail application of Shah in the Bombay High Court soon,” said a spokesperson of 63 moons.
