Pharma stocks extended their strong run on the bourses to stand firmer by the close. At 3.20 pm Cipla lead the pack with gains of 2.99 per cent at ₹406.05 as against ₹394.25 at close on Friday.
Sun Pharma Industries rose further to hold gains of 2.59 per cent at ₹638.10. It was quoting at ₹622 at the close on Friday.
Dr Reddy’s Labs moved up 1.90 per cent to quote at ₹2,679.10. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹2,629.25.
Wipro rode up to trade at ₹528.65 as against ₹519.25 at close last week. This represented a gain of 1.81 per cent.
Kotak Mahindra Bank was up 1.79 per cent at ₹822.95. The stock had closed last week’s session at ₹808.50.
