The board of directors of Polo Hotels on Monday allotted about 50.44 lakh equity shares of ₹10 each to two allottees. The allotment follows the conversion of an equal number of compulsorily convertible preference shares allotted to them on January 24, 2012. Kanitkar S & Associates, Practicing Company Secretaries, Mumbai, will submit the necessary documents for listing of the allotted shares. The stock of Polo Hotels ended at ₹62, down 3.4 per cent on the BSE.
Lykis Ltd has informed BSE that Bhagwati Prasad Lohia, Director, has submitted his resignation from the board of directors of the company as he was unable to devote time for company matters due to his personal interests. Also, Mayank Jhunjhunwala has been appointed as Independent Director following the approval given by shareholders in the AGM on September 30. The stock of Lykis tumbled 4.4 per cent at ₹33.95 on the BSE.
Poly Medicure has informed the BSE that it has received a settlement amount of ₹21.50 crore from a customer on account of settlement of an agreement. The company, however, did not divulge any other details regarding the matter. Shares of Poly Medicure edged up 0.12 per cent at ₹847.7 on the BSE.
