The allotment committee of the board of Bajaj Finance on Wednesday allotted 92.50 lakh shares of face value ₹2 each to the promoter Bajaj Finserv on conversion of warrants issued to them on preferential basis at ₹441.20 a warrant. The warrants and exercise price are as adjusted for sub-division of shares and issue of bonus shares in September 2016. The stock of Bajaj Finance edged down 0.9 per cent at ₹850.25 on the NSE while that of Bajaj Finserv gained a per cent at ₹2,931.15.

Pharma major Lupin has received tentative approval for its Abacavir Sulfate and Lamivudine tablets from the USFDA to market the generic version of ViiV Healthcare’s Epzicom tablets. Abacavir Sulfate and Lamivudine tablets, 600 mg/300 mg in combination with other antiretroviral agents are indicated for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 infection, the company said in a statement to the exchanges. The stock of Lupin jumped 5.24 per cent at ₹1,486.9 on the NSE.

JMD Telefilms Industries has invested ₹60 lakh in its subsidiary JMD Medico Services, which has also launched around 30 products in the pharma segment till now. The company has also started marketing of the products under the brand JMD. Earlier this month, the company had informed the exchanges of the formation of JMD Medico Services for entering into the pharmaceutical segment and will deal in manufacturing and marketing of ayurvedic products, including medicines. Shares of JMD Telefilms closed flat at ₹2.03 on the BSE.
