Salzer Electronics has secured a letter of intent worth ₹18.70 crore from Energy Efficiency Services (EESL), a joint venture company of PSUs of the Ministry of Power. The order is for designing, manufacturing, supplying, installing, commissioning, testing and maintaining of lighting controls for installed LED streetlights for urban local bodies of Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Jalna (Maharashtra) and Jharkhand. Shares of Salzer Electronics closed down 0.55 per cent at ₹181.5 on the NSE.

MSR India said it has secured a ₹50-lakh order from Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (ISRO) for manufacturing special purpose components. The company bagged this contract for the second time after completing its first order in ‘record’ time. After entering the aerospace & defence sector, bagging consecutive orders from ISRO has been the biggest achievement for the company. MSR India said it expects to generate huge revenue from these work orders. Shares of BSE-listed MSR India crashed 4.9 per cent at ₹48.4 on the NSE.

Entertainment Network (India) has informed the exchanges that on Monday it commenced broadcasting from its radio station at Kanpur (second channel 91.9 FM - acquired under Phase 3 auctions held last financial year). The second channel has been branded ‘Mirchi Love’. The stock of Entertainment Network edged down 0.51 per cent at ₹745.05 on the NSE.
