BEML , a Mini-Ratna Category-1 public sector undertaking, under the Ministry of Defense, has set a target of using 100 per cent renewable energy for its consumption needs. In another step forward to achieve this goal, Deepak Kumar Hota, CMC, BEML, on Thursday inaugurated a 200 KWp grid connected rooftop solar project at its Mysuru complex. Earlier, BEML has set up a 5 MW windmill project at Gadag District of Karnataka (generating power since 2007), and an 18 MW windmill project at Koppal and Bagalkot. The stock of BEML closed down 2.55 per cent at ₹1,296.90 on the NSE on Thursday.

Camlin Fine Sciences has informed the exchange that the company has allotted 4,50,790 equity shares of face value ₹1 each in accordance with the terms of ESOP 2014. Consequent to the allotment, the paid-up share capital of the company has gone up to 10,37,09,570 equity shares of face value ₹1 each aggregating to ₹10,37,09,570. The said shares have been listed on the exchanges on February 27, 2017.

The board of Borax Morarji (BML) at its meeting on Thursday has considered and approved a Scheme of Arrangement/Amalgamation of BML with Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Company (DMCC). According to the terms of the Scheme of Arrangement/ Amalgamation, one equity share of DMCC of face value ₹10 each fully paid-up will be given for every two fully paid-up equity share of ₹10 each in BML. As for the exchange ratio for preference shareholders, 10 equity shares of DMCC of ₹10 each fully paid-up will be given for every 108 fully paid-up preference shares of ₹10 each in BML. The Scheme is subject to requisite approvals.
