Hindustan Dorr-Oliver on Tuesday sought the advice of stock exchanges for announcing the company’s results. With the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code in place from April 21, the management of the company has been vested with the Interim Resolution Professional appointed by the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench. “Since the powers of the Board of Directors stand suspended and can only be exercised by the IRP, please advise us on the procedure/process to be followed for approval of the financial statements of the company under listing obligations,” the company said in a statement to the exchanges. Shares of Hindustan-Dorr Oliver closed at ₹5.20, down 4.94 per cent on the BSE.

RattanIndia Power on Tuesday informed the exchanges that it has constituted a committee to evaluate various schemes to refinance and restructure its Amravati unit. The committee will also examine and evaluate the ways and means of bringing about restructuring through a proposed de-merger of the company’s Nashik unit from itself, in a mode and manner which suits the best interests of the companies and their shareholders. The committee will prepare and present draft schemes and proposals for the restructuring before the board at a later date. Shares of RattanIndia Power slumped 6.6 per cent at ₹7.75 on the NSE.

Bharat Heavy Electricals on Tuesday said it has commissioned the third unit of the 1,980 MW Prayagraj super thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh. With the commissioning of the third unit, BHEL has successfully executed the 1,980 MW coal-based supercritical thermal power project in Uttar Pradesh, the company said in a release to the exchanges. Located in Bara tehsil in Allahabad district of Uttar Pradesh, the project is owned by Prayagraj Power Generation Company (PPGCL), a subsidiary company of Jaiprakash Power Ventures, BHEL said. Shares of BHEL edged down 3.3 per cent at ₹155.90 on the NSE.
