Surya Roshni on Monday said that it has obtained orders worth ₹45.58 crore for LED street lights and LED bulbs. The order was won through competitive e-bidding under the All-India SLNP (Street Light National Program) for pan-India execution, as tabulated by Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL). The company will have to supply LED street lights to the south zone of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and LED bulbs to Madhya Pradesh. The order has to be executed within two months, the company said. The stock gained 0.92 per cent at ₹286.25 on the NSE.

RPP Infra Projects has bagged an order worth ₹51.2 crore from Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation. The order is for construction of scientific storage godown of 40,000-million-tonne capacity (eight units of 5,000 tonnes each) in the TNCSC campus at village Edamanal in Nagapattinam district, the company said in a BSE filing. The work is to be completed within a timeframe of 12 months, it added. Shares of the company jumped 8.2 per cent at ₹252.80 on the NSE.

Sagar Cements on Monday commenced generation of power from waste in Telangana, for which it received approval last year. The company last year had said that it received approval for setting up a 6-MW waste heat recovery plant at its cement plant in Mattampally, Nalgonda District, Telangana. The stock slipped 1.15 per cent at ₹825.60 on the NSE.
