Shares of Federal Bank will remain in focus at the bourses in the coming days, as its board of directors meets on Saturday to consider a bonus issue. If, approved and also by the shareholders, it would be the second bonus issue from the banking major. In 2004, it had given two bonus shares for every one held. Over 93,000 small investors hold 8.45 per cent stake in Federal Bank, while 1,457 high net worth individuals own 11.33 per cent.
