Financial sector player IDFC remained the top gainer on the NSE near the close on Monday. At 3.30 pm it was trading at ₹142.50, up 6.34 per cent on its previous close at ₹134.
Tata Power Co gained 3.69 per cent at ₹111.10. It had ended the previous session at ₹107.15.
IT players TCS and Infosys also extended their gains on the bourse by the close. TCS was up 3.24 per cent at ₹2.488.55. The stock had finished Friday’s session at ₹2,410.50.
Infosys was up 3.07 per cent at ₹3,345.45 as against ₹3,245.95.
DLF built up gains of 2.13 per cent at ₹223.25 as against its previous close at ₹218.60.
