Comments
Infosys, which reported robust Q3 numbers last week, was the top gainer on the BSE on Monday morning. At 10.40 a.m. it was trading at Rs 3.656.10 as against Rs 3,548.90 at close on Friday, a gain of 3.02 per cent.
Tata Motors, trading at Rs 376.50, was up 2.27 per cent on its previous close of Rs 368.15.
TCS was the other IT stock in the limelight during the morning session. It was trading at Rs 2,331.75 as against Rs 2,281.80 at close last week, representing a gain of 2.19 per cent.
ONGC held gains of 2.17 per cent at Rs 289.95 as against Rs 283.80 at close last Friday.
Banking stock ICICI Bank was also among the top gainers, quoting at Rs 1,045.50 as against its previous close of Rs 1,024.55. This was a gain of 2.04 per cent.
