ITC made rapid gains to lead the pack ahead of the close on the BSE on Monday. At 3.24 pm ITC was quoting at ₹346 as against ₹341 at close on Tuesday. This represented a gain of 1.47 per cent.
Hindalco Industries shed some of its morning gains to quote at ₹135.90. This was up 1.27 per cent on its previous close of ₹134.20.
Tata Steel gained 1.21 per cent to trade at ₹413.35 as against ₹408.40 at close previously.
Maruti Suzuki trimmed its morning gains by the close. It was trading at ₹1,936.25, up 0.73 per cent on Tuesday’s close of ₹1,922.30.
HDFC Bank crawled up 0.32 per cent to trade at ₹725.70 as against ₹723.40 at close on Tuesday.
