The board of Kennametal India has put on hold plans of modernisation, expansion and relocation of its manufacturing operations. It is now reassessing the project cost, financial feasibility, delay and uncertainty after considering the change in policy for allotment of land. It also decided to withdraw the application filed with Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board seeking allotment of industrial land.
