Digital media marketing solutions firm Lycos, which was formerly known as Ybrant Digital, has listed its shares on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE). The shares, with the scrip ID LYCOS, will be traded on the exchange from Friday (May 8).

“The listing gives us the edge to reach investors from 191 centres who can avail of the trading facilities on the NSE Trading Network,” Suresh Reddy, Chairman of Lycos, said.

Ybrant Digital rechristened itself as Lycos, the US-based firm it bought two years ago for $36 million. Prior to that, it acquired IT services firm LGS Global and became a public firm (through the acquisition).

Suresh Reddy, Chairman of Lycos, said, “This listing gives a larger universe of investors an opportunity to participate in the growth of Lycos,” he said.
