Maruti Suzuki drove up gains of 3.51 per cent in morning trade on the BSE on Friday. At 11.20 am it was trading at ₹2,613 as against its overnight close at ₹2,524.50. The company announced today it sold 90,093 units in July, up 20 per cent on sales for the same month last year.
Bharti Airtel rang up gains of 3.21 per cent to trade at ₹384.55. The stock had closed the earlier session at ₹372.60.
Hind Unilever was quoting at ₹699.85. This represented a gain of 2.09 per cent on Thursday’s close at ₹685.50.
Tata Steel spiked up 1.44 per cent at ₹561.35. The stock had ended the previous session at ₹553.40.
Tata Motors made gains of 0.63 per cent at ₹449.70 as against its overnight close at ₹446.90.
