Maruti Suzuki made rapid gains during the course of the day to emerge among the top gainers on the BSE by close on Thursday.
At 3.15 p.m. it was trading at Rs 1,703 on the BSE as against its earlier close of Rs 1,641.25, representing a gain of 3.76 per cent.
