Hero MotoCorp was on a roll on the bourses in the afternoon session on Wednesday. At 2.29 pm the stock was the top gainer on the NSE as well, quoting at ₹2,870.05 as against ₹2,790.50 at close yesterday. This represented a gain of 2.85 per cent.
Dr Reddy's Labs perked up 2.09 per cent to quote at ₹3,072.75 as against ₹3,009.75 at close yesterday.
Infosys extended its morning gains to quote at ₹3,726.95. This represented a 2.07 per cent gain on yesterday’s finish at ₹3,651.25.
Tata Power made further ground to hold gains of 1.92 per cent at ₹85.15. The stock ended the previous session at ₹83.55.
Cairn India held steady to keep its gains at 1.89 per cent at ₹325.80, as against Tuesday’s close at ₹319.75.
