Infosys and TCS were broadly firm in the morning session on the markets on Friday. At 11.55 am Infosys was the top gainer on the NSE, trading at Rs 2,223 as against Rs 2,146.35 at close yesterday.
Hindalco Industries gained 2.43 per cent at Rs 132.70. The share had closed the previous session at Rs 129.55.
TCS rode up 1.76 per cent at Rs 2,557.35 as against Rs 2,513.10 at close on Thursday.
Larsen & Toubro made gains of 1.75 per cent to quote at Rs 1,663 as against Rs 1,634.45 at close overnight.
NTPC charged up 1.53 per cent at Rs 146.20 as against Rs 144 at close on Thursday.
