ONGC was broadly firm on the bourses on Monday morning. It led the pack on the NSE as well, trading at Rs 316.05. This was a gain of 3.96 per cent on its previous close at Rs 304.
Cipla perked up 3.80 per cent at Rs 660.15 as against Rs 636 at close on Friday.
Hindalco Industries vaulted up 3.69 per cent to trade at Rs 133.35 as against Rs 128.60 at close last week.
Bajaj Auto rode up 3.37 per cent to quote at Rs 2,014.35 as against Rs 1,948.65 at close on Friday.
M&M advanced 3.35 per cent to quote at Rs 1,183.40 as against Rs 1,145 at close last week.
