Auto shares Tata Motors and Hero MotoCorp were broadly firm on the markets on Thursday morning. The two shares led the pack on the NSE as well. At 10.59 am Tata Motors was quoting at Rs 479.65, up 1.67 per cent on its overnight close at Rs 471.75.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 0.97 per cent to trade at Rs 2,631.60. The share had finished Wednesday’s session at Rs 2,606.30.
Vedanta was up 0.94 per cent at Rs 193.40 as against Rs 191.60 at close yesterday.
Infosys was also on a firm wicket, trading at Rs 1,986. This represented a gain of 0.89 per cent on its Wednesday close at Rs 1,968.50.
ITC sped up 0.83 per cent to trade at Rs 320.35 as against Rs 317.70 at close yesterday.
