DLF emerged the top gainer on the NSE by the close on Monday. At 3.20 pm it was trading at Rs 148.05, up 5.45 per cent on its previous close at Rs 140.40.
Tata Power was also on the uptrend, quoting at Rs 91.85 as against Rs 88.10 at close on Friday. This represented a gain of 4.26 per cent.
Jindal Steel held firm to hold gains of 4.20 per cent. It was quoting at Rs 148.95 as against Rs 142.95 at close last week.
Hindalco Industries also held steady to keep gains of 3.40 per cent at Rs 165.75 as against Rs 160.30 at close on Friday.
Infosys was also on a firm wicket, trading at Rs 4,276.80. This was a gain of 3.15 per cent on its previous close at Rs 4,146.15.
