Tata Motors extended its firm run on the bourses near the close of trading on Monday. At 2.20 pm the auto stock maintained its position as the top gainer on the NSE. It was quoting at ₹538.75 as against ₹518.90 at close last week. This represented a gain of 3.83 per cent.
ONGC flared up 2.91 per cent to quote at ₹415.75 as against ₹404 at close on Friday.
ITC made further ground to trade at ₹368.20. This represented a gain of 2.45 per cent on last week’s close at ₹359.40.
Hero MotoCorp rode up 1.42 per cent at ₹2,993.40. The stock had ended the previous week at ₹2,951.40.
Jindal Steel spiked up 1.26 per cent to quote at ₹213.25 as against Friday’s close at ₹210.60.
