Shares of Anjani Portland Cement will be in demand after Chettinad Cement Corporation has made on open offer to acquire a maximum of 47.81 lakh shares (26 per cent) in it. Chettinad Cement has offered ₹61.75 a share to the shareholders of Anjani Portland Cement. The offer price will be paid in cash. The Anjani Portland stock on Wednesday closed at ₹55.45, down 3.65 per cent over the previous day's close. Shares of Chettinad Cement got delisted from the exchanges last year.
