The board of Orient Abrasives on Tuesday accepted the resignation of Mihir Devani from the post of Whole-time Director and Chief Executive Officer. As a result, Devani will cease to be an employee and key managerial personnel of the company, it said. The board has approved the appointment of Manubhai Rathod as an additional director, and consequently, Whole-time Director and CEO of the company for a period of three years from June 15. His appointment is subject to approval by shareholders, the company said. Shares of Orient Abrasives closed flat at ₹30.60 on the NSE.
