Orient Green Power Company Ltd , part of the Shriram Group, has said that its operating capacities now exceed 500 MW following the recent commissioning of three biomass units in Narsinghpur (Madhya Pradesh), Kishanganj (Rajasthan) and Marikal (Andhra Pradesh) through its subsidiaries. In addition to the existing capacity, the company is close to commissioning another 40 MW of capacity under the wind and biomass verticals, which will help further consolidate its position in the renewable energy business. The stock on Monday closed flat at ₹10.43.
