Shares of Omkar Speciality Chemicals will be in demand on Tuesday, as it has received a patent licence from the Centre. In a post-market-hours disclosure to the exchanges, the speciality chemicals & veterinary API firm said it had obtained a patent related to the ‘process for manufacturing 2-hydroxy-3,5-diiodobenzoic acid’. With this, the company now has three patents. It has applied for more process patents; two of which, it expects to bag in six-nine months.
