Pharma stocks maintained their firm run on the bourses near the close on Monday. Cipla built on its morning gains to stay ahead of the pack on the BSE. At 3.05 pm, the stock was quoting at ₹407.50 as against ₹394.25 at close on Friday. This represented a gain of 3.36 per cent.
Wipro made rapid gains to quote at ₹529.20 as against ₹519.75 at close last week. This represented a gain of 1.82 per cent.
Sun Pharma made further ground by the close. It gained 1.77 per cent to trade at ₹633.85. The stock had closed Friday’s session at ₹622.80.
Dr Reddy’s made gains of 1.73 per cent to trade at ₹2,671.50 as against its previous close of ₹2,625.95.
ICICI Bank was higher by 0.57 per cent at ₹1,276.50. The stock had closed the previous session at ₹1,269.30.
