Ruby Mills has said that its processing unit at Kharsundi village, Khalapur, Maharashtra, has got permission from the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board to restart operations immediately. The unit was not operational since February 7 as the MPCB had cut power to the unit due to its common effluent treatment plant being non-operational. The company did not expect any material loss/ damage besides marginal impact on production/operations.
