Sun Pharma Industries made rapid strides during the latter half of the day to extends its early gains by the close on the BSE on Friday. At the finish it was trading at ₹779.30, up 4.23 per cent. The share had closed the previous session at ₹747.70.
FMCG major Hindustan Unilever also maintained its firm undertone to hold gains of 3.07 per cent at ₹662. The stock had finished Thursday's session at ₹642.30.
HDFC also built further gains of 2.79 per cent to trade at ₹1,064.35 as against its previous close at ₹1,035.45.
Hero MotoCorp zipped up 1.52 per cent to trade at ₹2,574.95. The stock had closed the overnight session at ₹2,536.30.
Dr Reddy's Labs gained 1.30 per cent to trade at ₹2,745.85. The stock had finished Thursday’s session at ₹2,710.55.
