IT stocks TCS and Wipro extended their firm run on the BSE in late trading on Monday.
At 3.05 p.m. TCS was trading at Rs 2,332.75 as against its overnight close of Rs 2,215.65, a gain of 5.29 per cent.
Wipro was quoting at Rs 573.30 as against Rs 552.45 at close on Friday. This represented a gain of 3.77 per cent.
Sesa Sterlite made rapid gains to trade at Rs 205.25, up 2.37 per cent on its previous close of Rs 200.50.
ITC edged up to trade at Rs 330.45, representing a gain of 1.72 per cent on its earlier close of 324.85.
Tata Motors held steady to trade at Rs 374.60, up 1.34 per cent on its previous close of Rs 369.65.
