For those interested to own shares of Chennai Super Kings, Wednesday will be the last day. Shareholders of India Cements will receive one CSK share for every one share held in India Cements, as the latter's stock turns ex-demerger on Thursday. The company had demerged CSK into a wholly owned subsidiary by transferring the assets at net cost, and earning around ₹166 crore. India Cements had bid for CSK franchise in 2008 for $91 million, payable over a 10-year period.
