HCL Tech was the top performer in the March quarter among the big-four IT majors. However, the stock gained only one per cent with above average volumes. But Wipro rose 2.4 per cent with good volumes in anticipation of the results, which were announced post-market hours on Thursday. Revenues grew 2.5 per cent sequentially in dollar terms, keeping pace with HCL’s 3 per cent. A rally above the hurdle of ₹600 will push Wipro to a new multi-year high.
