For investors who wish to participate in the proposed ₹2,500-crore buyback offer of Wipro, Wednesday is the last day to accumulate. Shareholders whose names appear on the record date (May 6) will be eligible to participate. Wipro plans to buy back four crore shares (or 1.62 per cent stake) at ₹625 a share. Promoters - Azim Premji and his family - are expected to participate in the buyback, which will be on proportionate basis through the tender process.
