Will Rajasthan deal turn fertile for Ruchi Soya?
Ruchi Soya Industries has signed a pact with the Rajasthan Government to invest ₹150 crore in farm-processing facilities. The company will develop pre-harvest facilities, such as providing high-quality seeds, pesticides and insecticides to farmers to improve yields and post-harvest assistance including warehouses and waste procurement. Ruchi has not provided a timeline for the investment. Investors will watch the development.
Salman Khan to keep Eros, Mandhana on radar
Shares of Eros International Media and Mandhana Industries, the entities associated with Salman Khan, may remain under pressure after the Bollywood actor was sentenced to five years rigorous imprisonment in the 2002 hit-and-run case on Wednesday. While Eros had announced a collaboration on the two maiden productions of Salman Khan Films, Mandhana is associated with the actor’s NGO 'Being Human’.
