The Hindu Business Line : `Strategy is a must to go on the right path'

Mr Atul Sood is a Regional Director with Hitachi Data Systems India Pvt. Ltd. He has been in the IT/consulting industry for 11 years and has previously worked with Veritas, PricewaterhouseCoopers.

He did his industrial engineering at IIT Roorkee. Here's his take on four questions from Business Line:

Two things that my education/training taught me:

To seek why.

To never give up.

Two things I learnt from my work/real life:

Strategy is a must if you want to go on the right path. And execution will take you down that path.

One quality I look for the most in a new recruit:

Independence.
