Management Columns - 60 Seconds Chief! Look beyond the obvious
Mr Raghuram Devalla
He did his BE from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and MS from Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. His professional areas of interest are software engineering and model-driven development. Two things that my education/training taught me: The value of perseverance: Inquisitiveness to look beyond the obvious. Two things I learnt from my work/real life: Quality is of paramount importance and always pays in the long run. To constantly seek better ways to do things, and not be complacent with the current way. One quality I look for the most in a new recruit: `Can do' attitude. A book that I read recently: Necessary But Not Sufficient, by Eliyahu M. Goldratt.
