Mr N. N. Subramanian is a Director and Co-founder of Maveric Systems, a dedicated independent software testing firm. He did his Management from MDI, Gurgaon after graduating in commerce from Delhi University. Here's his take on four questions from Business Line: Two things that my education/training taught me: You are always a student. Don't work too hard. Two things I learnt from my work/real life: To be a good manager or leader, one needs to have a heart full of abundance, generosity, gratitude and compassion. Our mind, with its fears and filters, is probably the only factor that limits what we can potentially achieve. One quality I look for the most in a new recruit: Fire in the belly hunger for that opportunity. A book that I read recently: A Short History of Nearly Everything, by Bill Bryson
