People Variety - Cinema Cinema is an amazing medium
Bharath
Bharath is an up and coming actor. A trained dancer, he made his movie debut in the 2003 release Boys. He has acted in films such as 4 Students, Kaadhal, Pattiyal and Em Magan. Two of his projects, Veyil, directed by Vasantha Balan, and Chennai Kadhal, directed by Vikraman, are slated for release later this year. Here's his take on a few questions from Business Line: Two values that I believe in: I think it's important to be able to adapt yourself according to situations. I get along with the people around me and mingle easily with everyone. This quality has helped a lot. Two things that I detest: I don't like interacting with people who are not trustworthy. I hate compromising on my friendships. Entertainment versus education: You can't really compare the two concepts. However, I feel some forms of cinema provide good moral education. Cinema is an amazing medium, a fine blend of entertainment and education. It has changed people's lives. My dream project: I'd love to do the lead role I mean, be the solo hero in a film directed by Shankar sir, who introduced me to films.
As told to Raj Menon
